About Dani

Hello!πŸ‘‹ I’m Dani, a husky born without eyes. I was born in a puppy mill and saved from euthanasia by a rescue group that only takes in disabled animals. My mom saw my photo and the rest is history. πŸ₯°


I live in Illinois with my family that includes my mom, dad, two teenage brothers, a little Jack Russell mix named Ed, and two cats named Chapman and Chuckles.. oh and a Redfoot Tortoise named Rufus! I enjoy working on scent work training and I absolutely LOVE going on Jeep rides! I have a really amazing dad that lets me sleep super close to him and takes me on an early morning walk every single day. I often get mentally worn out because I’m always working overtime mapping out my surroundings. My other senses are very heightened and I always know when you’re getting a snack. 🀨 


You might see me wearing a basket muzzle when I’m with my little brother because I’m a reactive gal. I don’t mind wearing my β€œhat” because my mom did extensive training with me to make it a happy experience. Wearing my β€œhat” actually makes me quite excited because that means I get play time with Ed! I really do love him, but I can be unpredictable at times and it keeps everyone safe. πŸ’›
